Accounting and Administrative Manager

Under the supervision of the CFO based in France, the accounting and administrative manager is based in Cincinnati and is a member of Corporate Team. This accounting and administrative manager is responsible for general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, account and bank reconciliations. They will assist with monthly closings and account analysis; he’s /she’s supporting the CFO of BeAM’s group located in France. They are support of the Purchasing Manager of BeAM’s group located in France.

Activities and Tasks

  • Prepare journal entries
  • Complete general ledger operations
  • Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
  • Draw up monthly financial reports
  • Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
  • Assist with year-end closings
  • Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Prepare tax computations and returns
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Assist with payroll administration
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners
  • Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences
  • Account/bank reconciliations
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures (including purchasing procedure)

Technical Skills and Knowledge 

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of finance principles and regulations
  • Knowledge of financial reporting
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding accounting, finances and taxation
  • Technical accounting skills
  • Competency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software / ERP (Sage X3, SAP)
  • Ability to understand and speak French is a MUST

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Previous experience of general accounting and multitasking (AR/AP, cash management and purchasing)
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
